See all facilities…Our campsite at Valley Farm is aimed towards small family groups, couples and individuals, who come to appreciate the horse riding, wildlife and dog walks. We are a scheduled Deben Valley site and have been awarded the runner up prize in the Tourism in Suffolk Awards. We operate a family friendly site, and ask visitors to keep noise to a minimum from 10.30pm.
We are open all year, but from Mid July to the end of August we are only open to visitors on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. This is because during the week we run activity holidays for unaccompanied children. If you are interested in Children's Holidays please visit our website.
Nearby attractions and activities
There is a wide range of horse riding activities available on site, to suit all ages and abilities. From 20 minute lead rein lessons for tiny tots, to all day Pony Club for older children. You may wish to try western riding, side saddle, carriage driving, pleasure hacking or vaulting. Please see our website for further details.
As well as the horse riding, there is pleanty of space for ball games, kite flying and running about. There are also well signed paths through or woodland and along the banks of the river, and round the pony paddocks.
Glevering Pay and Play 9 hole golf course adjoins the site. Wickham market Village, about a 10 minute walk away has a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants.
