See all facilities…Fancy taking your folk to Norfolk? Got a yen for the Fens? Check out King’s Lynn Caravan and Camping Park, where the manicured, spacious pitches are nuzzled into ten acres of established emerald parkland on the outskirts of King’s Lynn.
A swanky, eco-friendly block houses the free hot showers, toilets and vanity cubicles (there’s also a roomy family bathroom and very good disabled provision), plus facilities for washing up and laundry, and freezers for ice packs.
Guests can pick up the basics from the small shop within the reception area, but the site is in any case well-served for local amenities: there’s a big 24-hour supermarket five minutes’ drive away, and a variety of top-notch hostelries and eateries where you can sample the local ale and cuisine (plus a few of the more well-known child-friendly/takeaway chains within easy driving distance).
Nearby attractions and activities
There are loads of options for sports enthusiasts near King’s Lynn Caravan and Camping Park, whether you prefer wielding a fishing rod or a 6-iron, a peaceful game of bowls or the blast of a clay pigeon shoot, horse riding or horsepower (the Norfolk Arena, just over a mile away, hosts regular stock car and speedway races).
When it comes to day trips, most visitors start in the historic centre of King’s Lynn, with its medieval architecture, excellent museums and lively programme of cultural events, and work their way out...
There’s an eclectic mix of experiences on offer: you could have a go at glass blowing at the Caithness Crystal Visitor Centre; check out the Royals’ holiday pad at Sandringham, one of a welter of stately homes and gardens open to visitors; explore the area’s creature features at the Sea Life Sanctuary, the Welney Wildfowl and Wetlands Centre, the Church Farm rare breeds centre or the Butterfly and Wildlife Park; hop between Norfolk’s pretty flint villages and charming market towns, which host flower and music festivals, arts and crafts events and more throughout the summer months; or just make the most of the stunning beaches and countryside - there are stacks of nature reserves and country parks to choose from.

The Pods are lovely Jane E. (Mature couple, 1 review, 0 photos) Confirmed ?
Liked: The pod was spacious and warm, we only needed to take minimal equipment as it was well equipped. The utility block was very clean with plenty of showers and toilets. The site was well maintained with plenty of space around each pod. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Disliked: The smoke alarm! I know its a necessity and was grateful for it, but it was positioned right over the cooking area and went off every time we cooked meaning we had to have the doors and window open whilst cooking in zero temperatures. The showers were ok but not very hot, this was also probably due to the cold temperatures outside. |

Kings Lynn Caravan & Camping-Fantastic Site- fantastic People jeanette_C (Family with young children, 2 reviews, 0 photos)
Liked: This is is very well situated for travelling around Norfolk and East Anglia. Half hour Drive to Hunstanton and Sandringham. The site is kept very clean and the Toilet & shower block are immaculate. Free showers & Hairdryers make a welcome change. Enjoyed our weekend here at end of August, with our extended family and the facilities are second to none. Would love to have stayed longer, the owners are lovely people and we will definitely be ... Disliked: The noisy, road, which is busy all night. You are advised of this though when booking, so take ear plugs or have more to drink! This didn't spoil the experience and reflects in the price. |

Liked: This is the best camp site we have ever stayed at with brilliant facilities, the family who run the site were very welcoming and despite going out everyday to various locations we felt our tent and belongings was secure when away, the kids had a great time and it's not everyday you get a camp site that provides great washing facilities, and access to an iron & freezer if needed, will definitely use in the ... Convenient for Kings Lynn geoffdelivett (Mature couple, 18 reviews, 33 photos) Confirmed ?
Liked: Staff friendliness and helpfulness. Toilet and shower blocks modern and well looked after. Bus stops outside to Kings Lynn or Swaffham in other direction. Generous sized pitches at good price. Ok if you like touring the area by car. Disliked: We like to walk and cycle both almost impossible from this site as the A47 is a very busy single carriageway road with no footpaths. No play area for the little ones so naturally hurtling in and out and round the pitches. The filthy state campers left showers in, there were mops but I only ever saw one other person use one, a shame with the efforts the staff put into cleaning. |

Excellent campsite! Lucy M. (Young couple, 1 review, 0 photos) Confirmed ?
Liked: A very friendly and helpful welcome to the site. We were shown to our pitch which was very helpful and ensured everybody had their own space. The facilities were the best we have seen at any campsite, very clean at all times of day. The location was very good for various activities. It is far enough from the hustle and bustle of town/seaside locations yet close enough to visit for day trips etc. Will ... Disliked: Although pitched away from the A47 we were still alongside the village road which was still noisy at times. There was also loud bird noises from the property opposite throughout the night which did become annoying. Local pub recommended by the site (The Gate) does not open unitl 6pm, this wasnt mentioned to us and after a 25 minute walk was left disappointed. |

Liked: loved the camp site so much. very clean modern toilets and showers. well keep site with lots of room and the manager thought about the groups and familys and couples like us and put us on the right plot so we were away from bigger groups. Disliked: the road noise. you do get used to it and the lovely site makes up fr it. but there were some boy racers using carparks somewhere near at 11.00pm and it went on a while. given 8 on location because of this other wise it would have been a 10 as so much to do in the area. |

Liked: Having stayed at this site previously, it was nice to see the new toilet block.
