Moat Farm Touring Caravan Park and Campsite
FavouriteMoat Farm Touring Caravan Park and Campsite is an all-grass site consisting of 12 electric pitches and three backpacker pitches.
Our facilities consist of ladies' and gents' toilets with hot and cold water serving four vanity-style basins, with two in each toilet block. The gents' has a single automatically flushed urinal.
Hygienic paper towels are provided as is hand soap for general use after visiting the washrooms. The facilities are power vented to keep them as fresh as possible.
A single shower is provided for use which is currently served by a coin-operated meter. A £1 coin provides approx. 12 minutes of shower time which is generally sufficient for two people to shower one after the other.
A noticeboard and information point is provided with up-to-date local attraction leaflets as well as general site specific information such as fire, medical, bus timetable and local taxi company information.
Nearby attractions and activities
Thetford Forest is a nearby neighbour which has some fantastic walks, sights and sounds.
Snetterton Race Track is approximately five miles from our campsite which boasts some exciting race and track days. Snetterton also has a weekly market and also has what is believed to be the largest model shop in the UK. Other nearby attractions are many and various and sadly too many to list here.
Moat Farm, being a very rural location, has some fine birdwatching opportunities and many species of birds are to be seen at different times during the year, a list of which we try to keep updated.

We must agree that the grass was allowed to get longer than we would normally like to see but when the weather conditions are not condusive to cutting the grass or when the site is as full as it was for the time that this customer was here it makes it impossible to cut the grass and still provide a peaceful stay.
If the facilities were in a mess it was as a result that not everyone respected what was provided and chose to leave them messy, we cannot be behind each user and tidy or clean behind them, nor should we have to, we think it really comes down to 'you can please all the people some of the time, but cannot please all of the people all of the time' we try our best but for some.........
