Perfect jayjay (Family with young children, 1 review, 0 photos)
Liked: Close to alton towers, yet lovely and quite. Lodges had everything you could need and very clean. Hot tub was great after a long day at Alton towers. Disliked: The wetroom would fill with water when you had a shower, and took a long time to dry. Not great when you have young children who need to use the toilet |

Convenient for Alton Towers - a lovely peaceful site heatherharding (Family with young children, 1 review, 0 photos)
Liked: The site was very clean and tidy, the chidren's play area kept the kids very happy. there was pleanty of room between pitches, water and bins etc. were within easy reach. the staff were very friendly and helpful. The toilet and shower block was clean, it was quiet and we all had a good night's sleep even though it was busy. Disliked: Although the toilet block was quite near (only a short walk away), the path was not lit and one of our little ones had a tumble - we did have our torches. Perhaps having the solar lights up the path would help without being too bright to keep people awake. |
