The Three Horseshoes lies in the heart of the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Three Horseshoes has been thoroughly renovated and now enjoys high quality showering and toilet facilities, a washing-up area and electric hookups to all pitches.

The pub is currently closed and will reopen in 2013 to create a new camping, glamping and party and events venue for guests to enjoy exclusive campsite hire and use of our entertainment facilities within the pub - it promises to be a great place to gather your friends and family. For this year the campsite can still be enjoyed as a normal campsite but we can't offer you a pub - yet. Things are developing all the time and a pool and games room may be available later in the summer.

The campsite promotes a relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy a campfire (wood supplied on site) beside your tent and chill out whilst enjoying the views. We also have bike hire on the campsite and sit in an area of many footpaths including the long distance Viking Way - for walkers it's a must.

Nearby attractions and activities

Nearby is Cadwell Park, a motor racing circuit offering many car and bike events throughout the year including the super-bikes weekend over the August bank holiday period.
We also have Market Rasen horse racing which has an active racing calandar. This is about 20 minutes away by car. There are many other attractions and things to do in the area for all ages.

The most popular nearby town is Louth, a vibrant market town which lies in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Louth has many interesting small retailers alongside some national chain stores. The town also has a range of restaurants, pubs and leisure facilities.

For a bigger day out you could visit the county town of Lincoln with fine catherdral and castle or pop to the coast which is a beautiful 30-minute drive away - choose you pleasure or sin from one of the smaller coastal villages to Skegness with its large and load attractions or, just outside the town a beautiful quiet nature reserve.

Liked: Situated in the beautiful countryside of the Lincolnshire Wolds this campsite is an absolute gem. All is as it should be here with a flat camping field of neatly mown grass, clean toilets, showers and dishwashing facilities all with loads of hot water.

The pub is fantastic selling lovely beer ("Tom Woods" brewed in north Lincs) and great pub food made from fresh ingredients that is really tasty.

The staff are friendly, helpful and obliging ...

Disliked: I disliked nothing, it was all good.

Liked: What a warm welcome we received here, we stayed in the lotus belle tent with our 2 year old and we loved it! Fully equipped with everything we needed for our over night stay including a fridge stove and heater. The Glamping style tent itself was clean and well presented on a decking base. The Campsite neat and tidy located at the back of the 3horseshoe pub. The wash facilities were better standard then 4 ...

Disliked: Nothing at all the place was amazing

Liked: Really lovely. First ever family camping holiday with a 2 year old and a dog! It was a lovely small site with only about 10 pitches (some with electricity etc). You could park your car next to your tent and leave it there and water taps and the facility block were less than a minute walk away! The bathrooms were better than our ones at home, all new this year with great attention to detail ...

Disliked: We didn't dislike anything!

Liked: From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found an amazing little spot. Fred greeted us, and showed us to our spot, he then proceeded to help us, put up our first time used awning, and show us the correct way to do peg it in. So we were able to settle in very quickly. He was so friendly and easy to talk to. We met Linda, to finish off our final payment, as ...

Disliked: Nothing, it was perfect for our needs.

Liked: Although the pub is still undergoing work - we never noticed it. This site was perfect for us.

We stayed in our tent for 3 nights with our 5yr old daughter. The site was clean, picturesque and run by friendly and helpful people.

Showers and toilets were more 4* hotel standard than your normal bog standard camping facilities which was great for us with our bare essential style camping. Plenty of room for kids to run ...

Disliked: Nothing, it really is a gem of a site for nature lovers.
