We are a peaceful, tranquil site situated in rural Leicestershire, right on the Northamptonshire /Warwickshire border. We are family-owned and run and we pride ourselves on our customer service. We want you to have an enjoyable stay with us and will do our best to ensure you are a happy camper and return for more holidays.
Only one mile off the motorway, we are ideally situated off the M6 / M1 / A14 interchange for a stopover en-route to north or south or for a long break. We are set in the grounds of Stanford Hall Estate, one of the most beautiful country estates in the area.
We can accommodate all sizes of unit up to 40ft American RVs and fifth wheel trailers.
We can accommodate rallies or clubs up to 600 units.
We have a well-stocked site shop with a wide range of groceries, bread, milk, eggs, butter, bacon etc and we also have Walls ice cream, a fresh bean-to-cup coffee machine and iced slushy drinks. We stock Calor bottled gas.
Each unit must be totally self-contained as there are no toilet or shower facilities on site; however, there are four conveniently placed service points. We can therefore only permit caravans and motorhomes; however, we do allow trailer tents and folding caravans that have their own facilities. Sorry, no tents.
We also have a glamorous camping pod for hire, hand-crafted on site by us and set among mature oak trees with nature on your doorstep. The pod has luxury accommodation for up to four people and its
own en-suite shower room also with loo and sink; private verandah; a master bedroom with antique double bed and big window overlooking the estate towards Stanford Hall, and a main room with sofa bed, kitchenette, flatscreen TV, DVD and PS3 - please see the 'camping pod' description below for full details. (There is a minimum of two nights' stay over the weekend but other than that you can stay for one night.)
Dogs are welcome with guests on our pitches (sorry, not in the pods) and a designated dog walk has been established through part of the estate woodland.
Units must be totally self-contained as there are no toilet or shower facilities on site.
No dogs allowed in the pods.
