Camping with us in the heart of the beautiful Cotswolds is a wonderful experience. We offer simple grass pitches and pitches with electric hook-up, all on 25 acres of woodland and parkland.

We encourage individuals, couples, groups and families to stay. We have a small cafe within the climbing centre, a low ropes course and plenty space to play ball and for children to explore. There is a pub within walking distance across the fields and more further a field for those who like a longer walk or short drive. All the amenities of the Cotswold village of Northleach are one mile from the site and the popular towns of Bourton-On-The-Water and Cirencester is a 10 minute drive in either direction.

Far Peak is in the Gloucestershire Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are miles of wonderful walks to be enjoyed in the area and lots of villages and (hilly) lanes to be discovered by walkers and cyclists or for the less energetic by car.

Lovely site despite the noisy main road (beware booking online)

Liked: Great open space, great showers and loo's.

Very friendly atmosphere and well located for lazy bank holiday weekends.

Disliked: The site tried to charge us an extra £84 on arrival because they charge by tent rather than by person, it was only when I showed my Pitchup.com quote that they backed down and accepted the original quoted price.

Not a big issue but something to be aware of if booking online.

Liked: Everything!

12 of us, a mix of family and friends, travelled here for the bank holiday weekend! We had electric hook up and a mix of tents and trailer tents.

We had a wonderful time! There was plenty f space, we had lots of room for our camp without disturbing anyone else.
We took swingball, rounders, bowels, a football and other games with us, and had the space to play with them at our leisure ...

Disliked: The weather! Although I'm sure if they could of the staff would of helped us out with that!!!

Liked: The hot showers, if you were one of the first to use, but bearable even when cool! And the children loved the Wild Rock Climbing Centre and we loved the freedom of them going!

Disliked: Everything great.

Terms and conditions

Please read the park terms and conditions below and the Pitchup.com terms and conditions.

We let a pitch to you with the expectation that you will follow the usual customs of good camping and caravanning. We reserve the right to ask you to leave at any point of your stay if the behaviour of any member of your party is unacceptable to us and no refund of monies will be paid.

1. In high season, pitches are available from 2pm on the day your holiday commences. In low seasons you may arrive earlier. If you arrive after 9.00 pm you must pitch on the late arrivals area. You must vacate by 12.00 pm on the day of departure and leave the pitch in a clean and tidy state.

2. Pitches offered are for one tent / motorhome / caravan / camper van only, plus one vehicle. The only other unit on a pitch may be a small pop up type tent for occupancy by children under 16.

3. There are extra charges for additional children, awnings, gazebos, dogs, extra adults and cars. It is your responsibility to ensure that you can fit both your vehicle and unit on the pitch allocated to you. If you decide to bring extras, these must fit within the pitch.

Please note that campers wishing to use ‘The Glade’ (including guests using the Shepherds Huts and Yurts) are not permitted to drive their vehicles in this area and will have to park in the designated parking area. Assistance will available to help ferry equipment down to the pitch.

You must inform us of any changes and extras prior to your arrival. Once you have made your booking and made either an initial payment or the full amount for your booking, the price of the holiday will not be subject to change unless your holiday requirements change.

We will confirm your booking indicating that a pitch has been reserved for you on the dates required. The pitch offered will be based upon the information supplied by you.

You may request a specific pitch, but this is not guaranteed, Sometimes pitches have to be re-allocated depending on need. We will inform you if we need to make a change. Acceptance of a booking is not conditional on the allocation of a specific pitch.

Bookings are not transferable in any circumstances. Alterations by you to a booking after confirmation will incur an administration charge of £2 per alteration. The person who makes the booking is responsible for it and warrants that they are over 18 years of age and that the party will not exceed the numbers stated on the booking form.

You can cancel your booking anytime up to 28 days before your stay with no additional charges. Cancellation by you within 28 days of your booking due to inclement weather, non arrival of party members, arrival after the due date or events beyond our control are non-refundable.

6. If, after your arrival we are unable to provide the pitch allocated to you, we will offer a pitch of the same or higher specification. If we cannot offer an alternative pitch we will refund your total holiday cost, but you will have no additional claim against us. If you wish to extend your stay beyond the booked dates, there is no guarantee that the same pitch will be available. Whilst every effort is made to ensure that all advertised facilities are available, it may be sometimes necessary to close or limit a facility for safety or improvement reasons.

7. You must pitch as directed by the ground staff, not encroach upon any other pitches and consider fire risk limitation, safety and access. If you pitch outside the boundaries of your pitch or your unit is judged to pose a risk to the safety and comfort of others you will be asked to move.

8. A valid ticket must be clearly displayed on your unit at all times.
