Informal, family-friendly leave no trace campsite on organic farm with award winning farmshop and cafe 4 minutes walk through the woods.
Braziers to hire or bring your own for a fire, firewood to buy, great walks around farm.
Kids can run about on vehicle free camping field with lovely view right next to the car park, or you can camp with your car, trailer tent or camper van in the vehicle camping field.
Compost loos and cold water tap only. no showers. sorry no dogs.
Groups over eight - please ring first, otherwise just come in shop hours to book in.

Liked: The site is only 1.5 hrs from London and the tent pitches seemed reasonable value and it's an open country site not an obvious camp site. Disliked: There seemed to be a lot of rules: Cars not allowed past certain points even to unload, tent pitches not allowed near yurts, the number of people allowed in the yurt camp was restricted & the yurts were too far from the tent camping. Tricky for us, a group with young kids whose parents want to socialise when the kids have gone to bed. The tent camping also felt very exposed - just a field with a ... |
