Excellent Campsite

Liked: We have stayed here before and was the first choice when we travelled to London this year (2012). The campsite is the best we have stayed on and the children absolutely loved it. It has the best shower blocks and toilets we have ever seen and the layout of the park is second to none. We have and will continue to recommend this park to families, friends and others.

Disliked: No play park when we visited we mentioned this on the feedback form and have received a letter last week confirming they are building one for the 2013 season

Not suitable for people travelling by canoe

Caz166 (With friends, 1 review, 0 photos)

  • Would not recommend to friends

Liked: The campsite was clean and a male member of staff was very helpful in advising us on places we could go for dinner

Disliked: We travelled to the site by canoe and found there was no signage for the site from the river. We hadn't spotted the slipway to the campsite as it was blocked by fisherman.
Also, the area for tents was situated in the field furthest away from the river (the caravan section is nearest the river) so we found it impossible dragging it to our pitch as it was so far and had to hide ...

Great place for families - quiet and lots of green

betty (Family with young children, 1 review, 0 photos)

  • Stayed Jun 2011 Review submitted

Liked: Groups of families can book together

The shower blocks were always clean

Family shower rooms which was great for mornings with 2 kids

It's very quiet and there is a policy of no noise after 10.30

Walking along the nature trail (but don't take a buggy!) The walk along the river to Marlow or Henley is lovely but is too long for smaller children unless they are in a buggy

Picniccing next ...

Disliked: The rain!

There is no playground but this doesn't really matter as there are loads of rooms for running about and ball games

The cost of Legoland tickets!!! (though that' not the park's fault)
